National Land Information Service (NLIS)

The Council is currently at stage 2 of the National Land Information Service (NLIS) project. This enables customers to forward their searches through the central NLIS hub. Searches are returned in hard copy either through the Document Exchange (DX) system, or through the post.

The Council is working towards a fully automated Land Charges system which will also allow searches to be returned by email.

This system should be in place by the end of 2007.
