West Wiltshire.District Council administers allotment sites in the following areas:

Trowbridge

Home Close Farm - 37 plots with water

Mornington Gardens - 56 plots with water

Bradford on Avon

Shoulder of Mutton (behind Avonfield Avenue) - 7 plots, no water

Frome Road - 12 plots, no  water

The charge for plots is £19 for plots under 120 square meters and an extra 17 pence per meter thereafter. Any greenhouses or sheds must have planning permission, this costs £50 and takes approximately 8 weeks to process.

Plase note that no bonfires are allowed on council allotment sites. No polytunnels are allowed.

To apply for an allotment plot, please contact customer services on 01225 776655 or e-mail customerservices@westwiltshire.gov.uk who will supply an application form.

Please note that we operate waiting lists for each site and will contact you as soon as a plot becomes available. We will also contact you at regular intervals to ensure you still require a plot.

Use of pesticides is allowed on our allotments by allotment holders but we do not encourage it.
