There are over 120 play areas in West Wiltshire, 67 of which are owned and managed by the District Council. These play areas offer a wide variety of equipment for children and young people like slides, swings, roundabouts, multi-units and trim trails.
Play areas are a great benefit to the local community and provide areas where families can partake in activity. They provide children with a safe environment that encourages physical activity and imagination within their play. For adults they can be quiet places to visit to meet friends, take a stroll or have a picnic with the family.
A visit to your local play area could provide you and your family with your recommended 30 minutes of activity for that day.
