Warminster Walk 04 - Out of Town Walk

Start: Western car park.

Distance: 2 miles approx.

Intensity: Level 2 (occasional gradients).

Terrain: Pavements and footpaths, roads to cross, small alley.

Finish: Finish Western Car Park.

The Walk

From the Western car park turn into Sambourne Road and then turn right, crossing the busy road into Ash Walk. Continue along, past the school and the bowling green, until you get to Minster Church.

Turn right into Dorothy Walk, and go across the recreation ground with the lake on your left until you reach Portway Lane. Turn left and follow the road round, crossing the railway bridge to lead up to the busy Westbury Road.

Turn right and right again into Portway, walking past the fire station on your left, and then turn into George Street. Cross at the zebra crossing to get back to car park.
