Trowbridge Walk 05 - Riverside Walk

Start: Trowbridge Park.

Distance: 2.4 miles approximately.

Intensity: Level 1 (mostly flat).

Terrain: Pavements, riverside path, busy roads to cross.

Finish: Trowbridge Park.

Points of interest: Trowbridge Park. Riverside views.

The Walk

From the rear of the Civic Hall, follow the riverside walk towards Town Bridge, crossing Castle Street. At the bridge, turn right into Wicker Hill, turn left into Manvers Street and then right into Church Street. At the pedestrian crossing, turn left into Union Street, and then turn right at the roundabout into The Halve. Cross the road at Roundstone Street and follow the path below the underpass. Turn right as you emerge into Harford Street, then right again into Ashton Street, continuing along into West Ashton Road. Go past the petrol station, cross the road and walk along the riverside via Tesco and back to the park.
