Trowbridge Walk 04 - Brook Road

Start: Brook Road.

Distance: 2 miles approximately.

Intensity: Level 3 (occasional gradients, uneven ground).

Terrain: Pavements, muddy fields, stiles to climb, minor roads to cross.

Finish: Brook Road.

Points of interest: Country side views.

The Walk

Follow Brook Road from the junction with Wingfield Road, and follow the road round, past Walwayne Court School, to the junction with Broadmead. Walk along Broadmead, turn left into Chilmark Road, and pass the Wiltshire Yeoman public house. Turn left into Westwood Road, taking care along the grass verge, and continue to the footpath. Continue along this path, crossing a succession of stiles until you reach the last field. Once you have walked past a bungalow and pond, cross the small bridge and follow the path onto Wingfield Road, turning left and left again to return to Brook Road.
