Edington Priory Church

Situated in the village of Edington near Westbury, this church was built between 1352 and 1361 by William of Edington, the Bishop of Winchester. Its battlements give it the appearance of a fortified mansion, it also has fine plaster ceilings and interesting monuments. Every August a festival of church music is held in Edington Priory .
