Tennis courts

Tennis is a great sport on a sunny summer evening but it can also be played in the winter, the hard courts are open all year round.  As you become more confident why not join a local club to improve your technique.  Tennis can provide you with a workout that will not only increase your physical activity, but will tone your arms and legs as well.

There are a number of tennis courts throughout the district that are available for hire.  Some are not owned by the District Council but are still available for use.  The District Council owned courts are situated at:

• Leighton Recreation Centre, Westbury Tel 01373 824448 – contact for information regarding booking and costs
• Trowbridge Park, Trowbridge – available to hire from the kiosk
• Warminster Park, Warminster
• Melksham Park, Melksham
• Stallard Recreation Ground, Trowbridge
• Culver Close Recreation Ground, Bradford on Avon
