Municipal Golf Courses

Golf is a great form of excersie that has proved a beneficial way to relax and unwind.  You can take a leisurely stroll around the course playing a match which not only provides one of the '30 minute a day' activity challenges that we face as a nation but can encourage participants to interact.  Golf is a very sociable activity with friends enjoying a round whatever the weather.  It can be enjoyed by any age and gender and does provide a good source of active recreation throughout life.

West Wiltshire District Council's Leisure partner - DC Leisure - is responsible for one 9 hole golf course in the area. This is located at Christie Miller Sports Centre in Melksham.
