Project management

A project like this involves many people, both from within the Council and specialist advisors.

Project board

This is the steering group for the PFI project, which provides the link with Cabinet and Council.

Project manager

Chris Trowell is the housing PFI project manager, who is responsible for delivering the scheme on a day-to-day basis and co-ordinating the project team. He is also the main point of contact for bidders.

Project team

The team is made up of Council officers who are working with Chris to deliver the project. It also includes a number of external consultants who have been appointed to support the Council. They are:

  • District Valuer Services - valuation surveyor
  • Grant Thornton - financial advisor
  • Hammonds - legal advisor
  • Johnson, Poole and Bloomer - land consultants
  • Mott MacDonald - technical advisor
  • PFA Consulting - consulting engineer
  • Quattro Design Architects - design advisor
  • Willis - insurance advisor
