Housing Options Advice

Our Housing Options Advisors offer housing advice and assistance to people who would like to secure suitable and affordable accommodation within the private sector or through the Choice Based Lettings System Homes4WestWilts.co.uk.

The Housing Options Advisors are able to discuss the options available and assess whether certain funds can be used to prevent homelessness and secure accommodation in the private sector. In addition to general housing advice, the Housing Options Advisors can offer basic debt advice, advocacy and attend court, representing tenants facing eviction and owner-occupiers with mortgage/secured loan repossessions

Advice and assistance is available to tenants; landlords; lettings agents; owner occupiers; parents; young people and agencies to try and prevent homelessness wherever possible. We have strong links with organisations such as Connexions; social services; The Amber Foundation and other supported housing organisations to provide joined up working and continually look at ways of providing a smoother service to all our customers.
