You will first be seen by a fully trained housing receptionist who will assist with basic housing queries and advise.

If unable to assist, the receptionist will refer you to an experienced housing options officer or the accommodation options officer.  They will assist with finding alternative accommodation within the private sector, access to social housing and give advice on housing law and legislation. They will discuss all possible solutions and options available with you in order to help to prevent homelessness.

If all options have not been successful and you have no alternative but to apply to the Council as homeless, you will be referred to an experienced Homeless Officer. He or she will have a detailed knowledge of homelessness case law and legislation and will carry out and complete all homeless enquiries.
