Finding Private Rented Accommodation

One of the best ways of finding private rented accommodation is through word of mouth. Friends and relatives may know of landlords and be able to tell you what they are like. Look in shop windows and newspapers, for example the Wiltshire Times advertises properties every Friday.

A lot of landlords use letting agents to advertise their properties. Letting agents will charge you a fee, this often includes a credit check, this fee is mostly non returnable even if you do not obtain the property.
