Direct Access Hostels

Direct Access Hostels

The housing needs department at West Wiltshire District Council will make every effort to prevent you from becoming homeless. This may involve referring you to other agencies for more specific advice and support, or helping you to bid through our choice based lettings system.

However, if you do find yourself in a homeless situation, you will need to consider the following options to solve your immediate housing need.

  • Staying with friends or family
  • Direct access and referral-only hostels
  • Lodgings
  • Private renting
