Disabled Facilities Grant

Money is available for a range of works to help people with special needs live more independently in their home. For instance, to make it easier to get in and out of the home, to improve access around the home, improve or provide a suitable heating system, or provide a specially adapted room etc. Owner occupiers and tenants (including housing association tenants) can apply. Landlords may also apply on behalf of a disabled tenant. Disabled Facilities Grants are means tested.
