The Energy Saving Trust has an on line Home Energy Check for people to complete. They then receive by post or email, a report tailored to their home, with an Energy Rating, and suggestions for energy and money-saving measures they might take.

25p out of every £1 you spend on heating can go out of an uninsulated loft

15p out of every £1 you spend on heating can escape through draughts

There are a varierty of Grants, Discounts and Cashbacks available to help you make your home more energy efficient. 100% grants may be available for cavity wall insulation, loft insulation and draught proofing.
