Schools - Ethnic Minority Achievement Service (EMAS)

The Wiltshire Ethnic Minority Achievement Service (EMAS) is a team within Schools Branch.

It consists of:

• a Head of Service;
• a Consultant for Race Equality and Diversity and an outreach project leader for Black pupil achievement;
• a secondary English as an Additional Language (EAL) team consisting of a team leader, three EAL advisory teachers and three bilingual assistants;
• a primary team consisting of 1 FTE team leader, three EAL advisory teachers and fourteen bilingual assistants;
• an EMAS Early Years specialist advisory teacher.
