Temporary Order 2008

• The Multi Storey Car Park (MSCP) requires urgent improvement works, to address the standard and safety of the car park.
• The nature of the proposed works will require partial closure of the MSCP, and the Council is looking at various alternatives to facilitate the displacement of cars from this location.
• The Bowyers staff car park which can accommodate 200 cars will no longer be in use following the closure of the factory.
• This site is therefore considered a potential option as a temporary car park to help minimise any potential parking difficulties that may be experienced during the MSCP refurbishment works.
