Service and Resource Plans 2006 - 2007

Each service plan provides the following information:

• The objectives of the service
• Risk assessment
• Equalities statement (where applicable)
• The main achievements in 2005-06
• Priorities not met during 2005-06
• Specific priorities for 2006-07
• Key statistics which provide context for the service
• Performance indicators and targets, showing prior years performance as well as targets up to 2009-10.
• Details of any specific actions planned which will improve performance against the indicators and targets

Each resource plan contains:

• An analysis of the financial resources required to deliver the service, broken down into expenditure types.
• Actual expenditure and income for 2004/05
• Budgeted expenditure and income for 2005/06 compared with the actual
• Budgeted expenditure and income for 2006/07
• Variances and the main reasons for changes
• Information on major assets used by the service
• Headline fees and charges for the service
• Financial and efficiency indicators
