From May 2008, the responsibility for considering complaints about a councillor has moved to the Standards Committee of the Council.
The Standards Committee is now responsible for complaints about:
Complaints about councillors of Wiltshire County Council should be made to the Standards Committee of Wiltshire County Council.
The Standards Committee can deal with complaints that a councillor has not followed the members' Code of Conduct. If you make a complaint about a councillor, it must be about why you think the councillor has not followed the Code of Conduct.
Complaints must be made in writing. Using our complaints form will help you provide the information that is required and will help us to deal with the complaint.
The complaint will be dealt with in accordance with our procedure for local assessment and review. In considering whether to refer a complaint for investigation, we will take into account our local assessment criteria.
If you have any difficulty in making your complaint in writing please let us know and we will help you to submit your complaint.
