Welcome to West Wiltshire District Council's housing information.

The Council is responsible for the Housing Advice and Needs Service, the Housing Register, Private Sector Standards, Housing Renewal and Grants, and Housing Development.

Private Finance Initiative (PFI)

West Wiltshire District Council is taking an innovative approach to providing affordable housing for rent by using the Private Finance Initiative (PFI). The scheme is intended to provide 500 new homes around the district. These would be available to people from the Council’s housing register for at least thirty years.

Partnership working

West Wiltshire District Council transferred its housing stock to

West Wiltshire Housing Society in 2001.We also work with other registered social landlords and housing associations who provide affordable housing in the area.
