Doing business with the Public Sector

The County and District Councils provide a wide range of services to a community of over 600,000 people within the County of Wiltshire.

This means that the local authorities have a considerable demand for the supply of goods, services and works.

The Council, together with its partners, has produced a guide designed to help local small and medium-sized enterprises and voluntary and community sector organisations (SMEs / VCOs) understand how the local authorities make procurement decisions. It also aims to encourage participation by SMEs / VCOs in the local authorities' procurement activities.
