To check which band a property is in you can visit the Valuation Office website (external site, opens in new window)

Although the council tax is collected by West Wiltshire District Council, we retain only around one tenth of the money to provide our services. The ‘average’ council tax bill is based on a Band D property, with two or more adults living there.
